Aerobics Classes are Back!! – Tuesday & Thursday from 6p-7p

Aerobics have started back again at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren. Got a little extra “holiday weight” you want to get rid of? Want to get healthier? Want great fellowship with other Christians? Come to our aerobics classes that will be held in our new fellowship hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6p-7p. See Linda Stennis for additional information.

Back-to-School Picnic – Sunday, October 11

The congregation is invited to bring picnic lunches up to Rocky Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway(see below for directions) on Sunday, October 11 after church services.
We’ll be driving up there (carpooling welcome) for fellowship and to celebrate the Lord’s beautiful displays of color during the autumn season. Rain date will be October 18.

We usually have a back-to-school picnic at the recreation department but I thought I’d change it up a little this year. I’ll probably bring a football to throw around as there is a large grassy area, and maybe a couple of outdoor toys for younger kids.

PLEASE NOTE – the date has changed. – We will be having an auction at the church starting at 9:00 AM. Anyone that has items they would like to donate should bring them in as soon as possible. If you need the church to pickup larger items please let Richard Hodges know. All proceeds will go to the Building Fund.
